Greetings Shipmates, Just a few lines to let you all know that I am looking forward to seeing many of you in Nashville, TN in June. Every indication is that this will be a very well attended event. Our Reunion Coordinators are busy now putting the finishing touches on our 11th Annual Reunion that is to be held from Wednesday, June 18th to Sunday, June 22nd 2008! For those who are attending, you’ll want to purchase an Association coin and take part in all the festivities that go along with one of our reunions. This year’s fun is to include a golf outing, which should interesting. I hear we have players of many handicaps (mine is my swing) taking part. I am also proud to announce that the online survey is posted and is ready for you to give us your input. Please take a minute or two and let us know what you’re thinking! http://ussnimitzassociation.org/survey.aspx On a personal note, I am now getting ready to get “UNDERway”, as a Tiger Cruise member of the Virginia Class Submarine - USS HAWAII (SSN-776) on which my Nephew Sal serves as a Nuclear Power Electronics Technician. I am ecstatic about this once in a lifetime opportunity. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences of how life is aboard the “BOAT” while we gather together in Opryland!
