Welcome to the latest facelift to the Associations website.
Due to the growing number of memberts in the Association, we felt it was time to grow and offer some new and enhanced functionality.
Latest Features.
Gone is the individual sections that only offered one-way communication from the President and various board members. Now we have a full featured forum for the Assocation President, The Chaplains Corner, For Scholarship and Reunion Information
A new Ship's Store. Hosted by FreeWebStore.com. the new store makes it easier to search for and purchase Association merchandise as well as make it easier for the Storekeeper to maintain his inventory.
Members Only has changed. Now instead of having a Members-Only section, these are integrated into the site and will only be visilble (or show as enhanced sections) to various parts of the site.
Ease of maintenance, Now any Board Member who has Administrator access to the site can make changes to content, re-arrange or create pages or update profile information of members.
With every facelift comes some potential new problems.
We experienced a few problems when migrating to this new website. After logging into the site (use your email address and password from the old site to access). Please do the following:
1. Click on your email address near the top right corner of the screen. This will take you to your profile page. Please verify all information. If you find anything wrong or inaccurate you will be able to change it. Only exception is the Member Since field. If the year you joined is wrong (we had a problem on import) send the webmaster an email with the correct year and we will get it updated.
2. Navigate through the site and let the webmaster know if you experience any problems. The site has been tested in IE7 and 8, FireFox 3.5 Chrome and Safari on Windows and also Firefox and Safari on Mac's.
